Can we really be the answer to Jesus’ prayer?
Our time at CC rocked yesterday! A little 70’s rock! Lives changed! A great graduating class! Decisions made! Jesus is definitely doing some pretty cool stuff. If you missed it, well then we missed you. We are taking a one week break from praying for our personal needs. What!?!?! Thats right- one week! Relax, He already knows what you have need of! Why are we doing this? We are focusing on being the answer to Jesus’ prayer instead of focusing on Him answering all of ours. Read John 17:20-23 to catch up. Lord, Make us ONE!
Here is what it takes for unity-
Humility- Get a realistic picture of who He is and who your are… Become self aware! Don’t let anyone give ya a lie- walking in humility is not easy! And if you have to say you are humble, then that is an issue! lol.
Meekness- This is not a wussy word! It is strength, authority, and power under control.
Patience- Be slow to avenge with words and actions. Relax! If you let Him, God will have your back.
Learn to Love- This goes way beyond a hallmark card, or even saying the words. The God kind of love is bigger and requires a mature man or mature woman to walk it out! Read 1 Cor 13 and see if you can live it out in your marriage, family, friendships, and church. It is not easy, but it can be done!
God desires unity! We should desire it as well!
